    I dont have many Canadien copper coins but do try to pick them up now and again so here is my latest addition a rather nice Edward VII 1910 one cent

    Steve,

    Very nice example. I've always liked that vine of ivy around the reverse of these early Canadian pennies. Thanks for posting it.

    Steve,I have got one of those coins.The 1907H is the rarest of all the King Edward VII Canadian 1c. coins.

    Yes,it was the last Canadian coin that was struck at Heaton's Mint.

    Has anyone got an example of the 1858 & the brass 1859 1c. coins to show? The 1859 brass 1c. has never been listed in Krause.

    That coin isn't Canadian.It is actually a British decimal 2 Pence coin.

    Hi John as Aiden says that is a British 2p and the otheres are Straits Settlemrnt 1c & a British QEII Penny )Pre Decimalisation) sorry to tell you but not Canadian.

    Bank of Upper Canada 1 penny Token

    Steve,I have got the Nova Scotian 1c.,& the Upper Canadian 1d..The Upper Canadian coin is affectionately known as a St. George Piece,because of its design.The 'R.K. & Co.' is not a mintmark,but an agent's mark for Rowe,Kentish & Company,through whom the Bank of Upper Canada's coin orders were placed.
