I am new here so if I am asking in the wrong place I am sorry, please tell me where I should go to and I will head over there. I am not sure if this is even a coin or not. I was going through my husbands coin collection that he inherited and I found this. I am not sure the metal, it has a good weight to it. It says "JAPAN" on the label but I have searched hundreds to thousands of pictures of Japanese coins and cannot find anything remotely similar. I have a feeling its not even a coin but gotta try right? It appears to have an "S" or a weird shaped "5" in a diamond shape. there does not seem to be any other markings on it, doesn't even look like it ever had any markings on it.
