if it is real, its worth a good chunk of money. i'd say a coin like that is best sold on heritage auctions. i'd doubt you'd find a good buyer at a coin show.
The price guide on ngccoin shows $950 if its VF-20, $2100 XF-40, $10,500 in MS60 Here's a link: http://www.ngccoin.com/poplookup/world-coin-prices.aspx?category=61770&worldcoinid=168917
That's Heritage, and it's a solid auction house. Great coin, but from your reverse pictures it looks like the coin has been cleaned. Even so, a very nice piece.
Rather hard to say - this could be worth a shot at ebay if this is slabbed. Hertiage will take a fair share of it. Where did you get your hands on this coin if you don't mind me asking?
Heritage only accepts consignments of $5000 and up. But they may offer to buy the coin outright, but only if you send it to them for inspection first. That said, here is a link to one in a Genuine slab with just a bit more wear than your coin. It sold for just over $1000 - http://www.mcsearch.info/search.htm...n=1&de=1&fr=1&it=1&es=1&ol=1&sort=&c=&a=&l=#9
There is a 1829 5 Rubles listed on the same web site which sold for $2100. It auctioned in 2011 at one of the Baltimore shows. It compares closely to the OP's and was slightly cleaned, which was mentioned as a possibility here also. Click on "25 similar records" and scroll to the bottom on the far left column. It's second from the last item.
i get it from my uncle, he lives in an area where used to be a prosperous area, now it is territory of Kazakhstan. it looks that here in Dubai, there is no numismats who might interested on this coin (
