Nope just like proof nickels, though I'm surprised at the cameo designation

Looks like a lot of meat left on that 1912! I don't suppose it has a mint mark...?

No mint mark. I was told today it was only worth 25 cents

Just got a PCGS 65 1937 Buffalo in the mail that I picked up last week on EBay. The seller's photo showed an annoying little black spot below the buffalo (see the first photo), but when I got it today I saw that it had no spot, so I guess the camera was playing tricks. One of those few happy occasions when the coin turns out to be better than the photo! Buffalo.jpg DSC05212.JPG DSC05213.JPG

7I've been spending a lot of time going through my nickel hoard lately. I'm preparing a submission to NGC.
Here are some that really stand out for these particular years/mm.
The luster is off the charts for these business strikes.

I owned this one for less than a day. It arrived in the mail today, I listed on the Bay, and tomorrow she will be on her way.

I just sold this one this week... certainly the coolest nickel I've had in a long time. For those that do not know, Proof Buffalo Nickels with a Cameo designation are quite rare, less than 20 have been graded by PCGS in the past 30 years or so.

Wow, what a beauty. That's the first Buffalo cameo I have ever seen. Stunning.

I really love this proof 1964 nickel. I wonder if it would be worth it to send it in for grading?

Even in PF69 they are only worth about $25.
