Nice coin, Ardatirion!! :high5: Hey, I'm curious => ummm, did you get to see my Hadrian Snake at the recent CNG auction? (hopefully the coin looks good "in-hand" as well?)
Steve, I've admired your Hadrian/Cobra many times and would love to find one. Meanwhile, today I picked up this interesting Caracalla. Snake^2 Snake-on-stick-on-flying-snake. Picture from seller. Wow TIF => that coin rocks!! (totally jealous ... that is definitely my type of coin!!) ... wow, it's a nice big baby too!! (sweet pick-up)
I figured if you were in buying mode you'd nab this one so I'm glad you're on the wagon this week. Going up against Stevex6 is never a winning proposition
Very interesting piece TIF. You're right about being lucky Jerry is on the wagon. Perhaps you're lucky I'm tied up on that same wagon. That is a wonderful coin. Congrats.
I wouldn't have thought serpents were very aerodynamic. Huh. Who knew. Do you think its body twists and coils like a corkscrew while flying? How does the rider stay on?
ahahaha ... yah, that's a good visual (it'd be a pretty rough ride!!) => a bit like George walkin' Astro!!
