  1. I don't collect paper money so much, but I have acquired these over my short numismatic career. I have been meaning to post pics and ask what everyone thinks but I have not made the time until tonight. I am somewhat binge posting I guess you could say, as I don't normally post more than one thread at a time but I decided to take some pics and post 'em up. What is everyone's opinion on these three bills? The 1$ is a Series 1957 B. The $2 is a Series 1953. It is in the worst condition, in my opinion. It was folded up in a small jewelry box my father had for probably 20 years or better if I had to guess. And the $5 is a Series 1934 A. Thoughts?

The 1934 $5 would likely be in the $15 - $35 range and the 1957B in the $3 - $4 range. As it belonged to your father, the $2 bill is priceless.

I would say the 1934 would bring in around 20 dollars, the 1957 would bring in about 2.50 and the 1953 is worth about $ 3 dollars mabye 4 !! But nice bills hang onto them you never know what they will be worth in the future!

  5. Yeah I plan on hanging onto them. I don't actively search out notes, but if I find them or come across a good enough deal I get them. One day I would like to have at least one example of each kind of bill in each denomination. I love collecting and am in it for the long-term.
