Can folks give me an idea if this is the o-111? Its unattributed 50/20 so that caught my eye...just curious if I am lucky and its an o-111
Yes your coin is the O-111 . Another way to tell is the dot below the arrowhead , And on the obverse the top of the B in liberty is open .
I think this coin is actually an O-112, R-1 and not an O-111, both varieties share Rev. H so the reverse are going to be the same. On the O-111 the first star should be pointing at a dentil, where on an O-112 it is pointing between dentils. Also, on the O-111 the bottom left serif of the first on in 1807 is defective, you'll notice that on the coin posted it is there. Here is a picture of what the 1 would look like if it were an O-111:
My bad , when I saw that the top of B looked open I stopped looking , Jesse's right about star 1 . Clearer pics of the date will confirm it's the 0-112 . Still one nice coin . Nice pick up Jesse .
Completely understood, I made the exact same mistake one time and after lots of searching and excitement, I found that it was an O-112, so now I'm pretty cautious on O-111's.
