Yes, I have the opportunity to travel a little for work. When I do I look online where I am going to see if any of my banks in the area have coin machines so I can dump there. It's pretty hit or miss when you go to other areas because you won't know if or how many halves they will have, but I have found a few this way and I believe going through some old posts that some members have had a lot of success doing this.

Box of Nickels: 19 pre1960, 1938, 1951S, 1955 plain, 1958 plain, 1959D MS, 3xCND (1977, 1984, 2007), penny play money.

 

A few rolls of lincoln cents...found a 2 cent euro from France - 2010.

 

$200 in dimes. skunk! did get a ground down cent the size of a dime and ground down on lincolns face for thickness of a dime and 1 strange color dime that's obviously A.T. pics on thursday.

 

2 boxes of halves. 1- 1953 Cuban 50 Centavos (same silver content as a 90% half). and
7 - 40% halves. This puts me over $100 face value in 40% halves.

Ugh...I think you need to take a break to let the area restock. I'm usually a firm believer that whatever you get...no matter how few...is still worth it in the long haul. However, 3 silver halves out of 7000 is pitiful. Sorry about your luck.

Nice find on the 50-D. Despite the damage, the acquisition cost is still worth it.

We've had boxes of 2013 nickels, dimes, and pennies this week so I haven't really had many finds the past few days.

 

I found bank roil 50 coins 2009 roll Lincoln log cabin 1 cent doubling on the one cent and also the one cent seems to disappear on the coin i thought pretty cool if nothing else fun to look at thinking on listing on ebay what do you think

 

First box of cents I ever did.....12 wheats and 1 Canadian penny. The wheats are (1) 1937, (3) 1944, (1) 1945 D, (1) 1948 D, (1) 1952 D, (1) 1953 D, (2) 1957 D, and (2) 1958 D. And the Canadian Penny is from 1963. Not a bad haul for my first time!! Wish I found a Indian Head or two tho...

It just figures that things seem to be picking up a day before I'm going to quit. I've cut myself off from all my banks except 2 last ones tonight.

October Totals:
$55,500 searched plus some loose rolls. That's my record!
70-40%, 30-90% and 0 dimes. 21.2 oz of silver.
Also my record low 40% finds at .631/box!
