World and Ancient spooky coins

    Here's my favorite US coin. A very bad hair day. Scary hair :D

    This 1792 half disme sold for $1.4M recently. I guess owning one is not in my future.

    The eagle looks like Norbert the Norwegian Ridgeback dragon. Or a chicken.

    I guess this is my 'scariest' looking coin. I wonder if these were nicknamed "Mother-In-Laws" back in the day :D

    here' a couple that are spooky because of the wear.

    fist is Jesus...not his best picture here. missing his face and having "claw hands" just makes it him look like some horror show guy.

    Steve's coin is a nomos from Campania and probably from Neopolis I have one...not nearly as nice. It is certainly a 'must have' coin. I think Steve's man faced bull is absolutely gorgeous with a great face. Superb.
