1952 Canadian Half...PL???

    Hi all,

    Can someone please help me with this 53 Canadian 50 cent piece? Does this
    look like a proof like strike? Also what would you grade and value it at??

    I don't know a whole lot about Canadian coinage, but to me, it does look like to be PL.

    Looks like a business strike, with all the tiny dings. Looks nice with the circular toning, but these are common. Worth a little more than melt at lower grade MS.

    Yes i would agree i think it is a low mint state business strike most likely would grade <MS63

    They did not start the Poof Like sets until 54 if thats where your going. But a fresh die or polished die could give the same appearance
