If you had all 6 billion people in the world run eastward at the same time, and then they all stopped at once, you could slow down the rotation of the Earth by more than a second. It is possible, it just won't happen. If you look at what silentnviolent and jerryc39 said, the probability is not there either. That's what we are really talking about. IMHO.

I can see a teller knowing the coin is worth about $5 but gives it to a young child they know is into collecting. At the same time, I understand the OP is questionable.

 

Not buying the story based on previous posts by the OP, but I do like the coin no matter what the story.
