1951-s BU half

    I have this half dollar that I want to know its value and grade. It has a lot more luster than shown.

    Looks to be in AU or EF-45 range i would say it is worth about melt value or between 9-12 dollars !!

    That's about right. The coin is not Uncirculated. It has been buffed up. You can tell that by the rounded look of the lettering. So unfortunately, it is worth the scrap value of silver on a given day.

    I highly doubt that. It is far from "BU", looks to have remaining details in the VF range, and has had a rough cleaning. Value-wise, and no matter what someone may have paid on ebay, it is melt material.
