I don't know why, but all of a sudden I have this urge to buy one.

Looking at completed prices on eBay, it looks like the dime alone usually goes for around $15, the exceptionally fortunate getting them for around $10. The whole set from 1996 (uncirculated, not proof?) goes for around $20.

Are these reasonable prices? I understand that coins (or anything for that matter) are only worth what people will pay. But I don't want to "overpay" if possible.

    Thanks.

Those prices seem to be the going rate today. I think I paid between $10-$15 a few years ago............

Thanks. If I buy the set, what do you think I'd get for the rest of it (minus the W dime)? Around $10 if I'm lucky?

I think you'd be extremely lucky if you got $10. This particular set had the largest mintage (1,457,949) of the entire decade. $5 maybe?

    Hmm. Ok.

Maybe I'll just buy the dime by itself.

Also want some of those U. S. Mint tokens. Will post in "Wanted", but if anyone has an extra, msg me. Thx.

According to numismedia, AND assuming full torch is the same designator for FSB. In MS-66 they say around $50

The price of these dimes appears to be stuck in neutral. In my opinion, a general lack of awareness for the issue has kept prices low. Of course, there were also plenty minted. However, I have always found the 1996 US Mint Set the easiest of the modern sets to sell as long as the dime was included. There are a reasonable enough number already slabbed that it shouldn't cost all that much to obtain an example.
