This coins will be ship to NGC by this week. This time, I am using air-tite holder and NGC do accept them to be submit. The purpose to use air-tite is to prevent any movement during travel. It's a theoretical perspective, mind you. Also, this time, it take past eight months to travel different coin shops in south California and Sacramento. Only reason why I was able to do that because my previous job is similar to cable installers. I had different schedules to install devices on customer's tv. Since the schedules was vary and many of them have time space that allow me to stop by coin shop to see what they have before going to next customer. It was fun, but stress job. It was a short term job and I don't work that kind of job anymore. I am planning to return to school for MS degree. Enough of background story and I was able to take some very nice coins from different shops. FYI, they are much better deal than eBay and all of coin shops that I stopped are really nice people. Here's pictures of coins. I will add more close-up pictures after post this thread. Your opinion always welcome. 18 coins in air-tite holders... Yes, most of them are toned.
Lincoln 1939-D, 1975-D and 1993. First two coins are very nice toned and 1993 should be MS 67 or 68 as it's very sharp and reverse has no marks. We will see how it turn out.
2 Mercury 1944-D and Jefferson 1974 FS. Both Mercury coins are FSB and it's rare to find Jefferson FS (5 steps) for that year. Jefferson may grade at MS-64 or 65 with nice crescent toned, but my camera can't take it well.
The quarters, 1932, 1953, 1977 and 1983. I was fortunately to find 1983 with high grade. I won't speculate on that, but I will see the outcome after it grade by NGC.
The Morgans, 1880-S prooflike, 1884-O, and 1888 monster toned. My goal for these coins are approved as NT. Cross my fingers.
Looking good. You were the person who had some issues with damaged ike(s) coming back that graders / shipping banged up, right? Might want to take closeups of each coin individually just so you know exactly what each coin looks like prior to submitting. I look forward to seeing the results. Those Morgans look very pretty.
geekpryde: Yep, it was me. I accept people's opinions that it was mistake in my end. This time, I am making sure it's safer and see the outcome after it return. It's my way to redeem myself that I know my stuff. Yes, I already take individual snapshot on each coins to ensure that it wasn't damage during transit. I will post the result on these coins.
