Has this SLQ been cleaned?

    Yup........but I don't think it's been harshly done from the pics. Remember, there was a time in the past when it was thought permissible to clean coins.

    Yes i would say an old cleaning done at least 30- or more years ago !!

    That seems like pretty strong money for what looks to me like an XF coin...?

    Ouch! Looks to be a good day for the seller; not so much for the buyer.

    Plus a good dent above "M" at reverse. It looks like metal was peeled, but not fully remove. That's serious affect the grade itself. :(

    I would agree, that is at best about an $80 coin given the degree of wear and that gouge.

    But harshly cleaned ? I don't think so.
