Nevada State QUarter Error?

I have this state quarter where the initials on the reverse look odd. Does anyone know if it is supposed to look this way. Also, the horse on the right closest to the mountain seems to have extra lines on one of it's legs. I have tried looking it up but can't find anything. Any information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, never mind on the initials. I think they are supposed to be that way.

 

That's the way the initials are supposed to look.

Maybe a bit of 'machine doubling' on the rear leg?
