End of Year 2006 Contest - My first ever.

Since I have never held a contest and rarely even participate in them, I figured that it's about time to dive into the fray. But seriously, its just taken me this long to think one up. :D

I recently completed my second set of Roosevelts and during the process I could never decide what to include in the set and what not to include. I've asked several members in this forum (possible clues) what they considered to a complete collection of Rosies and got several different answers. You may have to research past postings as well as get your Red Books out and count up the numbers to solve this one.

All you have to do is PM (Private Message) me:

    (1) The total number of coins in my completed collection

    (2) The total number of P's or plain mint marks in the completed collect, total number of D's, etc...

    (3) Lastly, how many "completed" pages are there in my Whitman Classic album right now?

I will take all of the correct answers and place the names of the folks in a hat and draw the winner next Sunday. The prize is a 1952 Roosevelt and a 1952-D Roosevelt both look pretty much UNC condition. Something to start your own Roosevelt collection with. Please submit all answers by midnight or so Saturday the 6th of 2007. Happy New Years all and good luck.

Contest has one more day left

This is easy folks! Just count the dates from 1946 through 2006 in your Red book or on online someplace, seperate the P's, D's, S's etc., and look up a Roosevelt Whitman Classic album and see how many slots are on each page. One more day for the easiest contest yet!

    dig in! :eat:

You came closest to the actually numbers and would have been even closer if you had added up the D's, P's, S's and yes the "W" for your total. You still kicked everyone elses tail. Congratulations Speedy!

    The correct answers were:

    61-P or plain
    58-D
    66-S
    1-W

and 5 pages with 36 coins per page. 6 coins on last page.
