Howdy folks! I haven't been on this forum in probably 2 years since I joined it in 2010 back in high school, but it feels good to be here. Since then I have joined the military and have also focused more on my ww2 collection. I have been picking up interesting coin jewelry along the way and decided to focus on that small niche. Before, I just focused mainly on US coins/currency but now, anything cool is fair game! I also wear a Croton 2006 silver eagle watch everyday :) last pic is just some knives in my collection...
    Thanks for stopping by!

welcome back to CT Jonobo. interesting watch. interesting jewelry. I would cringe if I saw a rare coin being cut up or used for jewelry. different strokes for different folks. I do collect some "pop out" coins.

Cool stuff. I love the pop outs as well.

I had a 1836 Capped Bust half dollar pin, which you probably would have really liked. Brought $55 on the bay, though, which I was pleased with. I cringed every time I looked at it (otherwise an AU details coin).

Yes, I believe I bought it from ebay about a year ago for $30! It was surprising because no one else bid on it. Nowadays, popouts are reaching way higher than that I think. My popout was a nice barber half before it was smashed in;) I wanted to get a morgan dollar one, barber quarter and dime to complete the set but it doesn't have to be barbers if the price is right!

I also forot about this little guy! The dates range ftom 1929 up to 1944 as the latest, I am assuming this was made by a sevice member for a sweetheart in the WW2 era which incorporates two things I collect! WW2 and coinage! got it for about 6 dollars at a thrift store:D

"pop out" coins have sky rocketed higher in price. I have a nice bunch but always wanted 1 from a morgan dollar but those range from $200-350. ouch.
