I like your action figure collection. spawn, ghost rider ? and what 1 is all the way left ? would I keep albums out in the open like that ? nope. no. if you keep key dates coins some where else then I think it's ok.
Who is the baby in the photo on the wall? For long term storage, you may want to avoid storing the coins near outside walls, attics, or anywhare near heaters and air conditioners. The ideal location is at an inside wall where the temperature is kept constant & the humidity is kept low. You could also store the books inside a container (vault, tupperware, etc) where the air-flow is minimized. If you are going to keep them on display, then consider moving them to the left side of the display (to the lower-left of Batman). The coins will be further from the changing temperature posibly associated with the air conditioner & Batman can keep a watchful eye over the coins.
Lol the deer was my grandmothers shes been gone since 98. I was waiting for some one to mention the ac. I just put the albums there a few days ago. And its pretty cold out. I snowed for 2 minutes yesterday. I plan on beign out of this apartment by next summer. And the vent to outside is closed. Im mote conserned about the older stuff around the albums. Like the fantasy roma.n/greek sword letter openers and the staned glass antiqur red box. The blades are stainless not sure about the handles. As well as the 3 silver plate items. No theres no keydates in thoes albums yet there all pretty common. All of my mote exspencive stuff, silver, mint/proofsets and 3rd part coin sets are out of sight.
Ah, I see. Spirit Animal of a departed loved one. Also pretty solid misdirection. While the thief is saying AWWW Batman would have sufficient time to implement his previously laid out plans.
i love dark figures and McFarlane is the best at making thoes. the two figures at the top are mcfarlane and the female with the snake eyes coming old of her head is also McFarlane from the sleepy hallow series. the ghost rider i got because the skull looks cool. hawkman i got because of his wings. and batman i got because he fits in with the rest. The picture is one of my daughters newborn pictures. she'll be two in december. all of this is on top of my computer desk my computer desk is also next to a 32 inch flat screen tv which is on the other side not sure if the tv would effect the albums if i moved them.
Is this a safe environment for my albums ? No, it is not. And sitting on a shelf anyplace else in your home isn't a safe environment either. Your albums need to be put away is a closed, sealed container with silica gel packs inside with them. See post #8.
But what you asked was if it was a safe environment, that is the question I answered. If convenience is more important to you than safety, and apparently it is based on your response, then you should never have asked the question. Which would you rather hear - the truth, or what you want to hear ?
