Sometimes those lousy eBay photos turn into gem pickup. This could be one of them. The red and blue one the obverse looks very promising. Can't wait to see your photos.

I would have the ASE graded. I have one like that and it graded as a 67, and I have had offers for triple what I paid for it, but it isn't for sale.

Here is the MS 67 toned eagle. This one was M.A., so yours should be:

That's a beauty for sure. Although, I would never slab bullion.

Looks like you'll have about 2,000 coins to send NGC when all is said and done.

So on Monday I bought a 1957 Lincoln Toned Proof from eBay for $6. I followed suite with Robec and took a chance based on some color I saw on the coin. This is the sellers images of the coin I bought. As you can see some sellers just point and click for a quick image to sell.

You can see it was really a gamble I took on this one in hopes of receiving a beautiful toned proof. I received my coin today and to my surprise I have to say its AWESOME!!!. Not as good as Robecs 1957 Lincoln Toned Proof but it fits just great in my collection. I may even have to send it over to Robec for imaging since my shots are not that great. Here are my images, let me know what you think.

I like the 57, it appears to be vividly toned under a light, brown patina. Of course, most will jump on the QT train, but based on the 1st and 3rd photos I believe it's what I like to call "unintentional toning". Some of these copper proofs can get absolutely crazy....and so can the business strikes.

I've posted this one before, it's absolutely crazy looking in hand. You can just tell the toning is completely natural by the remaining red.

Wow!! It's way more colorful than the sellers image shows. Definitely worth the $6 price tag.

Holy poop! I thought it was just gonna be a run of the mill RB proof lincoln. That's what I get for having doubts.
