I working on a complete 20th century US circulating coin set. I'm 93% of the way there but have some real expensive ones left to get.
A complete 19th and 20th century US Type set was my 1st goal , along with a early commemorative set . A Bust half set by date and Overton # . Also a good representation of Civil War tokens and Roman Republican and Greek coins .
My collecting dream before I die would be that at least one of my kids gets interested and active in the hobby. Knowing my collection won't be sold off for melt value would make me a happy dead man.
I am right with you Eagle. I have been assembling a PCGS Graded date and mint set for the last 2 years. I think out of the 97 coins total I have 45. Currently I am rated with 216th ranked set. Buy the time I die I hope it is a $1m set in the top ten of all time sets.
