Off center stamped 1965 nickel with a "P" mint on the coin.

Going through some old coins the other day I came across a 1965 nickel that was off center on the front and has a distinct "P" below the year. The back of the coin is not abnormal in any way. I wasn't sure if they even put a "P" on 1965 nickels. Any guesses as to what it is or what it's worth? Take a look at the photo and tell me what you think.

This is an error nickel (not a cent), and it is definitely not worth $150-200. It also appears to be a 1985 nickel and not a 1965. It looks like a 10-15% off-center strike, it might get $10 or so on ebay.

I agree with non_cents.......probably an '85. Philly mint marks didn't start appearing on nickels (modern era) till 1980.

Agree with the two previous. Can't be a '65.

Id say $20 max. Still a cool coin and an even cooler coin if you found it in circulation!
