Well, if you look at all his auctions, he's trying to sell nothing for something. I guess if you "win" five of his auctions, he'll throw a sixth worthless coin in with the five other worthless coins that you paid real money for.
I detest all those 'Liberian' issues. My sister lived in Monrovia when she was working for a NGO a few years back. Not a nice place to live. Some of them do contain silver, which complicates things when people bring them into the shop. Very time consuming figuring out which have PM value, and which are just base metal junk.
