Kirk, just my humble opinion, but she's technically a high EF to low AU. She's every bit an angel, too. You have fine tastes in women, my friend.

I don't know. She looks a little weak. Maybe it's just the strike. Look at some higher AUs and you'll see where I mean. I do think she's in the money at $1000, easy, if that should mean anything. Or, I'd never let her go at under that. Again, maybe it's just an easy strike I'm seeing in the picture, I don't know.

 

Well here is where my collection starts to get very thin. One day I will find a proof Seated dollar that I like (and can afford), but for now I'll start with the Trade dollar.

This Trade dollar is pretty conservatively graded at PR-64likely because of a relatively weak strike, but that doesn't distract from the stunning yellow-gold toning on high mirrors of this proof only issue.



This Morgan dollar has light gold toning on the obverse with a blast white reverse. It was the second, and last, dollar in my effort to collect the three dollars of 1881. I yet to find the 1881 gold dollar, but I have plenty of time left for that.



I have been on a search for a proof Peace dollar, but no luck as of yet. Does anyone have a spare 1922 high relief matte proof that they want to donate?

I only have a couple of gold proofs, I'll post them soon.

I've grabbed my shovel looking for something in particular. I've been left hanging for a few months looking at kirk's beautiful proofs and dreaming of a time when I can be doing that. But, the reason I dug up this thread...
