I would like to know if this coin is worth over melt??1959 half

I got this coin today and don't Know whats it worth? any Ideals

Well, you can ignore the slab...pretty much that is one of the "home slab" companies that will throw a high number on anything their way.

I'm not really a pro when it comes to halves, but I personally would not pay much over melt for it.

 

well that's what I was thinking, I looked at it really close But I am not a pro But compared It to a ms 64 PNG And it just don't even come close, Maybe (AU), I will Not put this at my store with this grade on it! I guess I will pulll the tag. And ask 14$ I might just get it. I feel thats fare, I cant ask what i thought at first. Like 70$.. that was before I looked close at the coin .Thank

There is no way to grade the coin from those images.

 

It is hard to tell but it might be a low ms-62- mabye a 63 i would say since the slab its in is junk the best you could do would basically sell it like it not slabbed or bust it out of the slab and sell it raw for around 14-15 dollars !!

 

Here In just a few Mins I will Post A new thread With this coin for us to look at and grade. Ms 68 I just can't see that,( 1959 Half grading )
