I'll give you my impression. Scans are tough to grade for me.
    1945 S MS63
    1938 S AU55
    1939 D AU50

well the 38s in hand looks slightly higherb then the 45s both said bu on the 2x2s just wanted a less generic grade for my spread sheets 63-64 sounds about right compared to the ms 60s ive seen online.

the walker i figured was around au since i only payed $20 for it the 45s was $6 and the 38s was $8 the 45s dosent show thoes black spots in hand and the 38s shows up like crap in the scan maybe because of the gold tone

The DDR's for 1945 Jeffersons are on the Philly coins. Any doubling on the coin in question is almost certainly an after effect of the scanning process or die deterioration doubling.

I'd go EF-40 on the Walker . Too much wear for AU . Jeffersons around MS-64 .

    Both Jeffersons are weak strikes.
    No details in the portico.

I agree. The wear down the center of the obverse exceeds anything allowed by an AU coin. The breast is almost flat along with the knee and left leg. Half the Eagle's leg and breast feathers are worn, which is typical of a XF40 coin. I also think both nickels are in the AU range, not MS. If the lack of detail is not all because of poor strikes, then I cannot agree with the suggested MS grades. Both must show absolutely no traces of wear to qualify.

I agree that the grade of the two nickels look MS63 ish and the walker appears AU50 ish.

For some reason I cannot post to threads or start threads today. I hope it is just a temporary glitch in the s/w (or perhaps I've been banned or hacked). I can click reply like I did in this thread (but am unable to actually type a reply). After I submit a blank reply, I can then edit the reply and type an actual message like this.

It is annoying so I am signing off until tomorrow. Check that. The s/w won't allow me to log out.

This is a real bummer. I have a couple new coins I wanted to share. :(

My posting problem just got resolved. :)

Walker XF45. My opinion on nickels is pretty useless, so I won't try.
