check out this one , at one time it was priced for over 5000.00 imagine that. this guy has had this one on ebay constantly for around 3 years that I know about. darn it I think I see five or six more extra ears , I better let the seller know. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-Lincol...30?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item53ddbf393a
This seller is just another "snake oil" salesman. He sees non-existent things in almost every one of his listings. Some of these "non-errors" are pretty funny though...
Lol yet he forgot to mention the extra I in the IN, the tear drop under Lincoln's eye and the high relief the coin has overall not to mention the beautiful toning as well as the very very low price. Oh yeah and also he can't seem to find anything in the records about such an awesome coin. Geez, I wonder why.
Did you by any chance check out their revisions? They changed "Returns Accepted" To "Returns Not Accepted" back in 09 on their first listing. Yeah. I wouldn't want it back either. Haha!
I like that piece of conglomerate rock he is asking over 300 thousand for. like I told him in a ask a question thru ebay these conglomerate rocks can be picked up by the truckloads around a old volcanic area for free. I get a good laugh every time I run across this guys items , they remain the same year after year. LOL
Wow, when HE goes fishing, he uses a huge net huh? @jon12 No, it is a ding just like all the other dings he is touting as mint errors.
I will not waste the time to look through all of this gentleman's coin listings, but it appears that he is just someone who sees "errors" everywhere he looks; this is not all that uncommon, and it seems we've a few members here who also fit into this category. I am not one to condone picking junk out of pocket change and offering of ebay as something it is not, but with all due respect, a homeless joke was unnecessary.
