Hello... Sorry no way to upload photos

Recently came into possession of a 1899 Dime...

on the back (One dime and wreath side) there is a little mark on the O in "One Dime" there is nothing under the wreath on the front it loks like she has some blemishes on her face

is the word LIBERTY supposed to be present?

The 1899-P (no mint mark) Barber dime ranges from about $1 up to $70 (Redbook value) in circulated condition. Sounds like yours is well circulated, so near the lower end of that value range. The word liberty is not present.

Liberty would not be present in a grade of good, that would be about $1 +.

1899 dime in circulated condition will go for $3 on ebay.

    Nothing really special about them.

The 1943 penny is made from steel and zinc plated. If you hold a magnet near it, it will stick to it. Very common cent as quite a few were minted tha year. Only year the cent was steel due to WW2.

The '36 buffalo nickel does have an variety which holds a high premium. The 1936 with the D mintmark had some minted with 3 1/2 legs. If you have this nickel it could be worth a bit but it was pretty rare so most likely you have your average Buffalo nickel.

1907 indian head penny might be worth a few bucks as well.

The '64 kennedy half is made of 90% silver. Very common coin, i think every collector has at least one or two. It's worth about $4.50 just in silver alone based on todays $12.85/oz silver price.

The 1899 dime has about $0.90 cents worth of silver in it.

Hang onto them for a while. WHo knows you might take an interest and start collecting. My grandfather gave me a 1909 lincoln penny and that's what got me hooked.

you could probaly sell them on ebay and get this

    1943 steel cent-25 cents
    1936 buffalo nickel-$1
    1907 indian head cent-$2
    1964 jfk half dollar-$5

nothing really rare but still fun to have. you could probaly sell the whole lot for $8 on ebay.
