got a nice batch of roman with interesting reverses at auction this week, what do you think, and do you want to show off your knowledge and identify--show some more
Very nice set, but are you asking us for help identifying them, or is it a quiz? They're pretty easy...
--just a bit of fun they are as you say nice and easy--thanks for your interest,i like slightly unusual reverses
Ummm, I think the dude wants us to post our interesting reverses? ... sadly, the topic is a bit too general (I could post "all" of my reverses!!) I'm about to go to a diaper party!! (no, i'm not gonna wear a big diaper ... I have to give a new dad a box of diapers, and then we sit around a nd drink ... this is apparently a new ritual while the new mother is at her baby shower) ... ... so chances are fairly good, that I'm gonna be gunned when we talk next!! (*yikes*)
Nope, I dodged a bullet ... things were heading that way, but I managed to tear myself away from the festivities and meander home to safety (my wife was glad to see me home => safe and sound and "diaperless")
wyvern => I love all of your reverses, especially the reverse with the two lil' kids on the throne (that is what it is showing, isn't it?)
That particular coin is: RIC 711 Faustina II Denarius. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, bare-headed, draped bust right / SAECVLI FELICIT, throne (Pulvinar) upon which sits Commodus and Antoninus.
