sweet quarters, my friend => man, I've really gotta drag-out my camera and take a few shots of my troops!!
My Aunt left me a large box of world coin's....here's a few.. 1943 Canadian 5 cent...just one small bad spot... 1906 Canadian 5 cents...
Steve I am surprised that your set doesn't have the dark blue toning that usually accompanies the centennial set in the original case. Thats pretty awesome. I almost bought a set at an auction sale in Winnipeg a couple months ago they were nearing the dark blue of the vinyl around them except for the penny and the nickel.
One more addition, a 1931 Canadian 50 Cent; I'm thinking VF10, maybe VF20?? Wish I could afford a nice MS example, but this will do for now!
Hey anyone know anything about the 1939 Royal Visit token?? Is Silver or Nickle?? Here a photo of it.
Do you have it in hand? Is it silver in colour? If not, could be copper and the photo just appears grayish. I added some links here... http://www.cointalk.com/threads/lets-see-your-exonumia.203005/page-50 ... and here is another... http://www.coinsandcanada.com/tokens-medals-misc.php?title=medal-royal-visit-1939&id=268
Thank You !!!!! I forgot about that web site + Forum Thanks again!!!! this 1939 the silver Dime size I think.
1914 Canada Large Cent; Hard to get a good shot of the reverse on this one, holder's badly scratched, but the coin's pretty nice
Happy Thanksgiving weekend, my wonderful Canadian coin-comrades (oh, and anybody else that may be reading this fine thread) Cheers, brothers!! ... I changed into my finest Canadian avatar for this occasion!!
