I'm a little disapointed, none of the Reverse Proofs were graded 70....Oh well....Here's the results:

    Reverse Proofs
    9-Pf-69
    1-Pf-68

    Proofs
    8-Proof 69 Ultra Cameo
    1-Proof 68 Ultra Cameo
    1-Proof 70 Ultra Cameo

    Uncirculated
    9-MS-69
    1-MS70

Hmmm, obviously you are not a big time submitter to them.
Well, I still think that you can't tell the difference between the 68's and a 70!

Yea, this was my first time....I mean, i wasn't expecting an SGS PF 70 ratio..lol...but still...all I wanted was 1 Reverse Proof 70...Oh well....

I think what he meant by that was that I was expecting too much.

    Al:
All that I meant is that it seems that the very high grades are offered for sale by those who are big companies and therefore, big submitters.
And, yes I have submitted pieces for slabbing and been disappointed. But not modern coins.
And no, I was not kidding, about "big time" submitters.

Hey everyone out there, how many times have you gotten an MS-70 or PR-70 for your grade from PCGS or NGC versus a n MS-69 r PR-69?

The big time submitters get more of them because they submit more of them, the percentages are about the same for everybody.

    n_sandler4,

If you dont mind my asking how much did you pay..per coin or however it works? And did you have to join a club or get a membership. I wanted to send an ASE and possibly a Marine Corps coin that I got into a coin grading service but was denied the idea while everyone was saying it was not worth it. How does this work?

Well if you are a ANA member you can send the coins to NGC without joining a club---also if you have an Ebay username you can send coins to NGC---otherwise you would need to join their collectors club.---to send coins to PCGS you have to join their club---anyone can send coins to ANACS though...

What is the date of the ASE?? You would need a total of 5 coins before NGC will let you send coins to them---as long as they are all dated 1955 or later (IIRC) they will only charge you $12.50 per coin + S&H.

Yeah, I payed 12.50 per coin I believe, and I signed up with the ANA to submit my coins.
