A couple days ago I was reading through C-B-D's thread "What's the biggest free bonus you've ever received/given?" and was dumbfounded by all the great bonuses. Well, just a few days prior I had responded to Medjoy's BST post for his 5 Intercept Shield storage boxes. The check hasn't even been cashed yet, but I looked on my front porch tonight and there they were! Spectacularly well packaged it felt like Christmas pulling out each box, but then I noticed a rattle.... sure enough, inside two of the boxes were a gem BU 1964 Quarter & gem BU 1964 Dime! The price I paid couldn't have even been enough to cover the UPS postage, let alone 5 large Intercept Shield cases and FREE SILVER, it just made my month! I can't thank him enough and am humbled by this generous act. It's a privilege to be part of such a wonderful collecting community and I just wanted to share my experience.
Absolutely! It seems like 99.9 percent of transactions are done with a "let's see how much I can get out of the other guy" mentality, and I'm not necessarily saying that's bad business, but sometimes having a repeat customer pays off better in the end
