I know this topic has been beat to death (and beyond).
I am seeking a definitive answer. Can milk spots be removed from silver coins? If so, how? Please be as detailed as possible.

Tough question. Folks have a hard time just agreeing on what a milk spot actually is.
Some spots can be removed and others helped. With some you would have to kill the coin with dip and still not get it off.

I've tried all of the remedies I found and none of them work (at least not without damage to the coin).

If you use anything remotely like that you have damaged the coin forever.

What Larry is referring to in post #2 is that a lot of people call any light colored or whitish colored spot on a coin a milk spot. That is an error, a mistake, plain and simple. There are many things that can cause light or whitish colored spots on coins, just one of the most common of them would be tiny saliva droplets from talking, sneezing, or even breathing around the coins. And if they haven't been there too long then yes these kind of spots an be safely removed from the coin. But they are not milk spots. People only call them that because they are similar in color to milk spots. But the reason these can be safely removed is because they are "on" the coin, not "in" the coin.

Milk spots are actually in the metal, a part of the metal. And that is why nobody has ever been to find a way to safely remove them. So to answer your question - No.
