I was just curious if anyone knew what this bill would grade at roughly or what it would be worth?

F-15 to VF-20, being a star probably about $220-235. Maybe a tad less, the staining hurts it.

Agree with Harris on the grade and likely value, might get a bit more though, a low 4 digit star might get $275 even $300 if the right buyer like that serial.

I would agree with the comments from harris498. Even as a four digit star, the staining will still cause the value to be in the low two hundred range. What are your odds of finding someone who was born in 1914, collects paper currency and would pay more?

I don't expect to find anyone born in 1914 but I could see the low serial number being worth a little more possibly. Not a big deal anyways, I think I am just going to hold onto it for a while unless I really need money.

A good plan if you have the patience. The star notes appreciate much faster than the others. I don't think you would have to wait too long either. In 5 years it may have a nice jump in value. Hang in there!

Great note. I agree with the previous valuations.

You can market it as a "World War I" note, since the war began in 1914. That's the biggest significance of that date.
