The NH Coin Expo is coming up this weekend so I got together 6 or 7 slabbed coins I was planning on bringing as items to use in trades. One of them is an 1883 CC Morgan in an old ANACS holder. I've had it listed on eBay for several months as a BIN OBO and in those few months I've only gotten two offers that are above my automatic decline price, one of which was this morning. I would prefer to bring this to the expo on Saturday than sell it on eBay because it is the highest value coin I would be bringing and it would have the most trading power. However, I don't want to pass on this offer I just received on eBay unless I could get as close to as much for it in trade, or potentially more, at the show.

In order to help me make my decision I was hoping people here on CT could give me an idea of what I can expect for a trade value at the expo for this coin--best case scenario.

I doubt you will get more from a dealer than on ebay.

Dealers are going to pay 80% bid on grey sheet, Dealers buy below wholesale and sell retail. Not sure of your price but I am betting you're getting more money from a ebay buyer.

Take into account the 10% BIN fees. But eBay probably is still better. I don't normally take a shot at grading, but is that 63/64? Reverse looks nice to me like a 64, but the obverse cheek has a lot of chatter so I am thinking 63. Nice looking coin.

A bird in-hand is worth two in the bush especially when you are dealing with a common coin in common condition.

No idea what your offer is but I see that as a $175-$200 coin at best - full retail. So I would expect dealer offers of $140-$160. Go from there.
