In the advertising forums of this forum and a few others I saw people offering very reasonable prices on silver and I remember when I was selling silver on craigslist one day and getting numerous offers of 30% melt price before selling at the price I asked. This was at the time silver was around $35-40/oz. I recall looking for buyers ther at the time and saw how many different people were looking to get rich quick by offering 10-12x face. Granted I scored some silver on craigslist for 8x face at the time, (the seller's price) I distinctly remember people putting ads warning against these buyers. I decided for kicks and giggles to go there today and see what the lowest outfront price was and I am shocked! This is the lowest I can find, and it is absolutely reasonable! http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cbd/4100912644.html I thought it would be fun for you guys to look and see if you have the lowest buy price. Show us what you (if you are naive enough to sell at their prices) what you could get!
There's one individual who offers the highest prices (by far... usually 2x face higher than melt), but according to people I've bought from, when you meet him, he drops the price (to 3x-5x BELOW melt), claiming condition and other garbage.
Cazkaboom, your linked post is gone now - someone(s) flagged it... Checked the local craigslist and don't see any current ads around here to add to your data...
That's another problem. Any buyers keep getting their ads flagged for removal.People with fair prices as well. It must be competition between buyers.
