    The photo has a slight hazy gleam to it, but the underlying coin is absolutely gorgeous, full of dark brown, red and green patina ... it's a total winner!!

    ... ahaha ... it kinda looks like Maximianus has a long green fu-manchu mustache!!?

    Yup...picture a bit hazy, taken with my cheap, improvised setup. Coin looks great in hand, though...you are right about the dark brown with red undertones! (Hey...maybe you should be a housepainter or interior decorator? ;) )
