How do you get ready for a coin show?

my first one is next saturday. i made a spread sheet type checklist for each album i have that list every date and mintage and key/semi key and i have a check next to what i have and what grade. im taking it with me so i know what i need other then looking for that stuff im sure ill buy something cool ive never owned before. ive got the upper hand. ill be inside 3 hours before the show starts

 

That is awesome. I used to have 2x4 cards, hole punched, which each denomination, year etc in a small pocket binder that I carried. Took me hours to make it but that way I would know what I needed vs what I had. However there where always a coin or 4 that I would end up buying just because they caught my eye, lol.

 

A want list, a loupe, a pile of cash, then I listen to Welcome to the Jungle right before going in...
