My father has this Morgan 1893 S and we were wondering the value, also the grade, if the pictures are clear enough to tell. thanks I can't get the pictures to load, but I can email them if needed, sorry

Actually, that particular date is a very valuable key date in the set of Morgan Dollars. Its value starts at $2,500 in a low grade, then increases from there. With this sort of coin, authentication is the most important thing, as this date is often counterfeited by adding an "S" mint mark to the coin. It would be best to try to get the pictures to load so that one of the experts on here can potentially tell if it is genuine.
