I have this coin that, as far as I can tell, is a 10 piastres from 1393 - 1973. I can't find a listing for it in my Krause book or online at ngc. Is it a token? A mule? Thanks for any help.
well. I just looked at my older 2010 Krause catalog and in it is calls the reverse Islamic falcon. hmmm still researching here. In Egypt listing it also has a second listing under the KM#430 listing the KM#431 as a mule. grade/value VF-$5.50 XF-$17.50 UNC-$27.50
I still think it is from Egypt but in my 2013 Krause catalog it does not show the reverse of the coin. going now to search Ebay. brb.
dude I found it. it's Egypt KM#435 its denomination is 10 milliemes. size 21mm. I was able to see it from looking at Ebay item#190913596133 large coin looks like yours. I like doing coin research and it was driving my crazy not knowing where it came from lol.
Egypt. 10 milliemes 1393 (1973), brass, weight - 3,2 g., size - 21,1 mm, thickness - 1,4 mm. Here is mine.
Thanks for the help. That's why I ask here. I think Egypt #435 is correct. None of my books show a picture. Thanks again.
