2012 d quarter I found today Is something wrong with the date?

Here's just a picture of the year, But the other lettering in the same around the outer ring.. So whats wrong with the year?

looking at the notching on that date I would swear it was a double die but as you said the rest is clear so does seem odd.

All the outer letters seam doubled Just like the year Sorry my mistake.Think it would be worth anything?

 

Definitely MD...the zero in the date is a clear indicator of flat, shelf-like doubling IMO.

 

MD, but check for the double ear, heres what it looks like

 

First pics are nice. Second one of ear not so much. Wait for a few opinions if you like but from what lil I know non_sense seems to know what he is talking about.
