How about an old error?

    I've owned 3 of these. This is by far my nicest. 1857 flying eagle cent clashed with a $20 gold double eagle! See Ms. Liberty's head? It's going to PCGS, but I doubt it'll grade.     They may not like it because of the "crud", but I do. It really makes the clash pop!

    Very much so.

    As far as Flying Eagle varieties go, the clashes are hands-down the most interesting IMO. Nice pick up.

    Same for me. Always wished someone would have found a $20 gold piece or the 50 cent piece with the matching cent clash. Fun stuff.
