I just emailed the seller about this auction asking if the coins were fake and if I'd receive the same ones in the picture. His reply, "THEY ARE NOT FAKE, SIR, OR I WOULDN'T PRICE THEM AT $299. YOU WILL RECEIVE THE SAME KIND AS IN THE PICTURES. WE HAVE A FEW SETS." He is also selling a first and last year Barber quarter set with BU looking coins for $67. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321217072287&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
I've seen this before. The coins are real, they just use photos of MS/BU coins in order to make a sell. The don't mention the condition therein. What you will most likely get are two worn out half dollars worth less than $100.
As per the sellers reply: "you will received the same "KIND" as in the pictures" i.e. No 1815, but definitely a capped bust.
