    Yah, apparently I went a bit nuts during this last week ... I have "6" new coins to show you comrades!!

    However, rather than "blort" them out all at once, I'd like to release one coin per day for the next 6 days ...

    Oh, and "PLEASE" post your own examples!! (I love seeing other people's coins!!)

    Anyway ... there is a bit of a theme, but for now, I will merely post my first coin outta the six!!

    I like you guys ... I hope that you dive-in and check-in occasionally during the next 6 days!!?

    Valerian I, Billon , Antoninianus
    253-260 AD
    Diameter: 23 mm
    Weight: 3.76 grams
    Obverse: IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG, Valerian bust right radiate cuirassed and draped
    Reverse: VOTA ORBIS, Two victories attaching shield inscribed SC to a palm-tree
    Other: rare with two victories holding shield

    I'm not particularly drawn to Roman Imperial coins but this one is very appealing! Good catch, coinbro!

    Nice coin lil bro. Six coins eh? I have four to post yet. I just can't seem to catch up to you. But, here is a nice Valerian I AE20 from Alexandria Troas:

    I don't have a particularly great Valerian ant. so I'll show a not particularly nice sestertius with a half decent portrait for this late period. Shortly after this coin the silver in the 'silver' coins dropped to a point that making bronze coins made no sense.

    Interesting thread. Something quite scarce to show instead af an antoninian, although it's not a new entry

    This is a middle bronze (as) minted c. AD 255-258
