Finally! my Lincoln Wheat set is complete and my '09 to date is shy a very few. The last coin I needed was this "key" - I've wanted an affordable MS RB for a very long time. After 50+ years it really feels great to complete this set in MS R & RB - 22 no D is the only exception LOL.
I don't know anything about coin collecting, so the 1968 D penny I received yesterday in change I thought was interesting. It looks pretty close to the color yours is but it doesn't have a woodgrain look on the back like yours. Do you know why it is that color? Should I polish it? Is it worth anything?
Yes+Maybe. Ms-65RB Yes but only to a collector who wants a Woody LMC cent Maybe is just a nice uncleaned/Polish cent you can keep as a Woody LMC cent. here a EF-40 1980-D Woody.

There had only been 2 in this grade until this one show up and now it is mine and off too Robec Images for some proper photo work.
Terrible picture but the colors on this coin are amazing IMO. I haven't seen a toned coin like this CRHing before. The picture washed out the color pretty bad.
Sweet colors on that coin. Lots of different shades and hues. Also I like your choice of avatar picture. Of course if you look at mine you can probably tell.
Thanks! Your avatar is much nicer than mine. Mine is a USB microscope picture of the 72/72 I found CRHing a few months back
