Found some coins I seen one was 1972 & I have not washed them off yet to see the years... On the coins that is and found some copper and alum.. Good two hours! I might of searched 20x20 ' area so far. I have 60 acers to go!
What are the dates on those Washington Quarters? LOL Man they are beat! Also are those Lincolns Wheaties by chance? I am going to guess not with the Bud Platinum cap along side of them, lol
no wheats and the oldest quarter to day was 1972, But I am going to go out 4 hours in the morning to see if I can find some silver and Wheat maybe some Indians I had about 20 hits that said penny But they were 10+ inches so I was only digging 4 inch -6 today, But I will hit the same spots in the morning! wish me luck

Thats a great find, over the last few mos the oldest I have found was 1883, But I will Keep looking $1.02 cents to day was more than I would of made watching tv! LOL
i keep finding bullet shells and such in the school forest trail in front of my house never any coins
Where is that at? I Bought a bunch of maps from a auction one year that were made from the years 1868 to 1920's And A bunch of the old farms and homes are gone now. So those are great places to go. May be I can Head you to a good spot! I am always willing to help! Free It gives me something to do lol..
ludington mi theres history here dateing back from 1600s but i havent found any thing but then again ive only searched one area
I did some Quick research ... Do you have friends/Family that Have old homes 80 years old in the area ? If so there Back and frount yards are a great place to Look! And heres on that will git you People that have had pet mostly dogs they dig and berry most of what they find... I have a huny whole I am working that I think a dog tool the hole house and put in it!
That works, I have two now the quick braw/ whites gt But the gt is better for gold/silver and the whites is better for junk! But juck sometime ends up being more than one coin at one spot so I like it. good Luck and if I go out today I will post a pic of my finds....Just not sure if I am going out I have to make a stained glass window for a friend for his home.
i wish i had a better one but it was what i could afford at the time $100 and it came with a pinpointer . the battery case on the pin pointer was cracked so i got a refund of $30 which makes the total $70 and the pinpointer still works so im happy
I have never used a pin pointer, But I Got one in the mail to day I ordered off eby, And i will try it out. If you want a better metal detector watch cragslist winters coming and some will sell when they need cash, I know a guy now that tols me a few days ago he had a garret 3300 for 200$ or trade But its a 600$ metal detector But green
there is no craigslist listing in my area small tourist town. a pin pointer is a most atleast for my detector its so much easyier finding what your looking with bad eye site
mine is a cheap one that has to be tuned almost all the way on just for the noise to stop so it can detect stuff but hey it works
well I can't go there my sight is Bad also, I think i just get lucky.. But theres days were I cant find anything but junk, But I feel I am cleaning up the trash..
