    Based on that picture, nothing

  6. Yes maybe i do know what "guide" means. If you're a coin collector then you know what "not trusting the guide means" i can now officially sell you a 200 dollar coin for 750 because thats what the guide says right?

  7. thanks!

This has been said countless times on the forum...price guides are exactly that...A GUIDE. They do not dictate a fixed price on coins. Ultimately, a coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it...that is a fact. You can get an idea of what people are paying for your coin by checking completed listings on ebay.

You say you have been collecting for 9 years and you list your age as 14...so you have been collecting since you were 5? And no offense to you at all, but just because someone claims they have been collecting a long time doesn't always mean they know what they are doing.

It also helps if you post correctly-oriented photos of the coin, and shots that are closer so we can get a better look at your coins in the future.

Well, I've been collecting since 1952 (yes, I was eight when I started) and I still don't know what I'm doing. That being said, I'm having a lot of fun "not knowing what I'm doing", lol.

No post in this thread should result in a response such as edited - and no post should ever quote such a comment either If you don't like a post, that's fine, but it's up to you to respond in an appropriate way.

  15. go look at some other posts where people get into fights and start using real curse words.

I believe that one of the moderators here has said don't post anything that wouldn't be in a 1950's tv show. You don't have to use profanity and any post that does have profanity usually gets censored like yours probably will be. And to answer your original question almost all of the graded coins I buy from dealers I can usually get at greysheet bid to about 10% over, so I would pay $80/90 for your coin.

You have a lot to learn about talking coins with folks on forums.
Get rid of the attitude and just have fun with it.

  18. go tell the jerk who said "you tell us what its worth" to learn that.

As I said, you have much to learn. Read your first post in this thread.
You started with an attitude and folks handed it back.
Play nice and stop the name calling.

I would take Larry's advice. Many of those people who have used language beyond 1950's TV shows are no longer on the forum, and "he started first" doesn't justify anyone being the one to prolong the errors. Thanks Jim
