I picked up 10 of them in average circulated condition for $3.50 each. Was that a decent deal or not ?
Depends what you consider average circ if they were f or up it still high but not bad if vg ro g then it was a bad deal they really arent worth much right now because so many were saved and they are easy to come up with !!
Just noticed that the first one in the stack was a 1963. The other nine are 1953, if that makes a difference.
That makes a difference, I see 1953 $2 notes selling between $8 and $18 in nice condition on ebay, so you did very well.
Score. On Sunday I picked up the following $2.00 dollar red seals for face value at Wells Fargo. 2 - 1928 "g", 2 - 1953, 1 - 1953 "a", 1 - 1953 "b", 1 - 1953 "c", 2 - 1963, 2 - 1963 "a". $22.00 dollars for 11 bills.
