any advice

i have decied to start a new collection but cant decied between silver eagles and mint sets .i have 4 years of mint setsand 4 years of eagles. but i cant make up my mind which one i want to actively want to collect next. of cource i will continue to add to both yearly . any one have any sugestions .or advice.

It depends on your budget, why not both?
Well, with the new $'s coming out, probably the mint sets.

 

I like the silver eagles - but why not work on the silver eagles, but get the current mint set. Then once you have completed the silver eagles start working on the mint sets. I have 3 sets of silver eagles - the only one I am missing in the 95w. Will have to wait on that one.

 

That is a tough choice. With the Eagles you have to worry about the price of silver, with the mint sets it is having to buy them off the second-hand market.

 

Go with the Mint sets. They are available at most coin shops, coin shows, etc. They take up more room but I just think there is a little more variety with them than a repititious coin.
