I was looking at quarters, is this dipped?

    Hard to say, If the dipping was done right you wouldn't be able to tell, on a coin that new i would say there is about a 60% chance it wasn't dipped.

    The coin does not look dipped to me. Seems to have good luster - and dipping will reduce luster. However - with pictures you can do almost anything.

    Maybe you should ask about a return privilege in case it does turn out to have been dipped.

    Yu can tell a diped coin if its in ACG slabs.
